Teaching art is our passion. We want every student to feel accomplished and creatively expressive. Students will be taught to see shapes, lines, colors, and spaces that they didn't recognize before. The teachers break down each art work into a step-by-step method, allowing the student to learn at each phase during the creative process.
Our students work in a program based on their age and skill level. While most students start in the Fine Arts Basic Program, older and more advanced students are placed in a program after we meet and assess their needs.
Fine Arts Basics - 6 yrs. old and up
This program starts with drawing using pencils and charcoal and learning how to use color through pastels and colored pencils. Students learn to create simple shapes and develop them into objects, animals, and landscapes. Students then progress to watercolor.
Fine Arts Specialized - 10 and up
In this program the student chooses a medium or subject that they are interested in and works with an outline of projects for that program. Choices are:
Watercolor, Acrylic or Oil Paints, Fantasy, Animal, or Portrait Drawing, Cartoons, or their choice of subject.
As the owner of this wonderful art school, I take pride in our instructors and their artistic abilities. All the teachers are artists and have had or are currently continuing their art education. Carly, Andrew, Sarah, Priscilla, Cassidy, and Helle all bring their own creativity, passion, and talent to each student. From anime to animals, traditional to contemporary, we make sure all our students learn about, experience, and create many different styles of art.
